You will see items in order of recognize cues, analyze cues, prioritize hypothesis, generate solutions, take actions, and evaluate outcomes. You can consider a case study scenario as a capsule and the selection of the capsule is adaptive. When you open a capsule, the six items are presented to you in a linear order. This is a graphical representation of the adaptive algorithms. The y-axis is the scale used for both item difficulty and the candidate ability. On this scale, a larger number always indicates a more difficult question and higher ability. A smaller number always indicates an easier question and a lower ability. The x-axis is simply a checker of the number of operational items.
